We are gathering together to support the secondary naming of a Detroit street after the legendary George Clinton — the Godfather of Funk, the Cosmic Captain of the Mothership, and the man who gave the world the Funk! We are celebrating that those Parliament hits that we grooved to were recorded right here in Detroit at United Sound, so we're aiming to rename the block where that historic studio sits P-Funk Way! These are the dates that the Detroit City Council needs to see us out in force, and if they hear any noise, it's just us and the boys (and girls) hittin' it!
