LINDA POWERS is distinguished by her unwavering commitment to contemporary art and her visionary approach to design. Her passion for fostering creativity has significantly shaped MOCAD’s unique identity as a dynamic, inclusive space. Through her leadership and dedication, she has played a crucial role in advancing MOCAD’s mission to inspire social change and artistic engagement. Linda’s ability to blend artistic innovation with strategic support has been instrumental in creating new opportunities for the museum and expanding its influence within Detroit’s vibrant cultural landscape.
OMARI RUSH engages the arts with both passion and professionalism. As the Executive Director of CultureSource in Detroit, his influence extends beyond local borders. He has completed a gubernatorial appointment as Chair of the State of Michigan Arts and Culture Council and an elected term as Chair of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies. Currently, Omari serves as a board member of the national Lewis Prize for Music and SeaChange Capital Partners, further contributing to the arts on a national scale. His leadership and dedication resonate with MOCAD’s commitment to fostering cultural growth and artistic engagement.
