The Obsidian Theatre Festival is a new and invigorating celebration of Black Stories featuring the work of prolific emerging Black voices, illuminating the rich diversity of experiences relevant to the African diaspora in America.Produced by Detroiters and entirely in the city of Detroit, The Obsidian Theatre Festival will entertain, educate and provoke thoughtful consideration of a broad theatrical audience, while normalizing the panoply of Black American culture
