The City of Detroit will host its annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit.

The event pays homage to the city’s Indigenous heritage with a day filled with cultural performances, traditional regalia, and community gatherings that honor the vibrant history and living traditions of Indigenous peoples.

This celebration is presented in collaboration with local partners including the Southeast Michigan Indians, Inc. (SEMII), the North American Indian Association (NAIA), American Indian Health & Family Services, and the Office of Councilmember Gabriela Santiago-Romero, among others.
